Seaways Diving School is BSAC school number 491 and runs courses to the highest standards of the British Sub-Aqua Club, the largest diving club in the world. Our tutors are fully qualified BSAC instructors experienced in teaching a wide variety of diving, seamanship and technical skills.

Seaways diving school teach a wide variety of courses from basic levels to the Inspiration CCR and seamanship courses including boat handling, chartwork and position fixing.

Courses available

Here are a few courses that we can run at short notice. We have lots of other courses and in most cases, can fit the training around your time schedule - evenings, during the week or at weekends.

Basic Nitrox Workshop

Basic nitrox is now included as part of the Ocean Diver & Sports Diver training. This workshop brings you up to speed with your Ocean Diver or Sports Diver qualifications if you qualified pre January 2007.

Advanced Nitrox

Use Nitrox as a decompression gas and learn how to do decompression stops properly - 2 day course comprising one day lectures and 1 full day of diving. Entry level is Sport Diver (or equivalent) plus 20 dives

Extended Range Diver

This three day course concentrates on the knowledge and practical skills needed for deep air diving and using up to 100% oxygen as a decompression gas. A full day of theory and a full day of in water kit handling skills prepare you for the assessment dive on a third day.
Entry level is Advanced Nitrox and this course prepares you for the skills required to go on to Trimix.

Inspiration / Evolution CCR Air Diluent

Entry level for this course is Advanced Nitrox Diver. The course lasts a week and teaches the use of the Inspiration or Evolution CCR using air diluent and the price covers the instructors costs. There is a full day of lectures, 2 hours of sheltered water work and 8 open water training dives giving you the basics you need to use this unit safely.

Oxygen Administration

This course is very practical and covers Basic Life Support in details as well as the use of oxygen resuscitation equipment. Come prepared for an active, hands on day.

Ocean Diver Course

Learn to dive with the BSAC. This is a course designed to have you diving confidently in open water to a maximum depth of 20 metres. Comprehensive, it covers all aspects in a series of lectures, pool sessions and open water dives. Run by arrangement.

Sports Diver Course

Take your diving further - learn more about diver rescue, multi level diving, decompression techniques and make your diving safer.
